Portraits
This photo was shot candidly while she was focusing on trying to remove the hat!
This photo he was very willing to let me take his picture and I was trying to fill the frame without ruining the picture!
she was very much focused on something else sometimes the best pictures are when there not paying attention!
this photo was not taken specifically for this assignment but I thought it was a good portrait photo of a proud boy and his prize!

Clone / Patch
For this photo I first cropped it and then used the patch tool to remove the rest of the chair. I also had to use the clone it just a spot or 2.
Paint
for this photo I colored the back ground sky with a galaxy brush added gradient color Caribbean blues and then added a rounded edge color

Filters
For the top photos I did a little crop and added oil painting filter along with solarized filter to give it an interesting look. I really like what the solarized look did to this photo
For the lake Photo I cropped the picture and added Spherize and pointillize filters to make it an interesting touches to the photo. When I cropped this photo I thought about taking the tree out on the right, but after adding the filters I'm glad that I didn't do that now.

Light & Color
edited
Original
The top is the altered one, I added some contrast to get the back ground a bit darker and it also brought out the shadows more. With the darker background I think it helps to focus on the Seagull more and enhances him more.

Original
The top two are edited, I had fun playing with these! the first one Is color negative and I thought it was really neat and wanted to share. The second one I added Strong saturation which really brightened up all the colors, some almost to much but at the same time it enhanced the reflection off the water

Landscapes
I found this to be a bit tricky especially from my house and trying not to use the same scene I've used in the past. Finally I just ended up driving around my town and when I saw something that looked good I took a picture! the top photo is from silver lake the second photo is from Old Orchard Beach Maine, and the third water photo is from Lake Dunmore. The other photos are just random shots but they caught my eye! where I live its mostly country scenes so that's what I worked with for the most part just in a different location.

Week 4 - Color Schemes
The two schemes that I choose to work with were analogous
for the top picture and complimentary for the bottom picture.
These photos were taken indoors as just random items that I felt would
work for this assignment. I felt it was a bit of a challenge to
find items to work for these pictures and these types of schemes.

Week 3 Collage
I always like to think about something that is different but eye catching, I took these photos all in one day usually once I get on a role I don't like to stop! I didn't really have a technique. I tried to capture different aspects of the flower, like when they are buds to just starting to open and fully open. when I did the front pictures the background looked to bland so that's when I choose a sun flower for the back the background. The sunflowers and purple flowers were all ones that I have grown this year. I love fall and these pictures hopefully show that

I love these 2 pictures, the top one is a side view and you can see more of the body parts to the butterfly, the bottom photo is from above and you are able to see the full view of the wings from the butterfly. I chose these because they are great pictures and these are two of my favorite things flowers and butterflies and I really enjoyed these pictures from the views they were taken from. In these pictures it shows the blur from the butterfly flapping her wings I took many pictures and it was hard to make out the butterfly in some. I think the point of view in this photo changes the impact because it gives you a different view of a butterfly rather than watching it fly around you can see her colors, her legs and body all things that you may not be able to see while she is flying around.
