Week 3 Collage

I always like to think about something that is different but eye catching, I took these photos all in one day usually once I get on a role I don't like to stop! I didn't really have a technique. I tried to capture different aspects of the flower, like when they are buds to just starting to open and fully open. when I did the front pictures the background looked to bland so that's when I choose a sun flower for the back the background. The sunflowers and purple flowers were all ones that I have grown this year. I love fall and these pictures hopefully show that

  1. Hi Stacy - wow! You have captured fall in your collage and it looks great. In looking more closely, I noticed that there are flower pedals appearing on the top and bottom and they add to the overall background without complicating it. Everything is well placed and I believe it's intersting because of that. Nice job. Tammy P

  2. Hey Stacey! Fall is my FAVORITE season, so I really love your collage! The first picture I saw was the pumpkin in the upper middle section. And I'm really loving the flower for the collage's background! What a good idea! I love the colors of all the flowers, and I think it all pieces together quite well! Good job :D

  3. Your collage pretty much sums up our current season. In my opinion your best photo was of the peach colored flowers on the left hand side of the collage. Although the flowers were the subject of the photo, the background leaves and budding flowers were also in focus. The background of your collage looks interesting. It would be nice to see that photo by itself as it appears highly detailed. Nice work!

  4. Stacey, this looks awesome! There is such a wide spectrum of colors in this collage, and they are all very bright. The details jump out of the photo even when I don't click on it for a larger view. How did you take these photos? Judging from the absence of noticeable imperfections, it looks as if you went for a smaller working distance rather than larger magnification. The detail in these photos is impeccable! You did a great job.

  5. This is good and definitely screams fall..my favorite season!! I like the pumpkin shots and the purple flowers in the top right hand corner of your collage. Flowers are definitely interesting, they appear to be alike but up close you can sometimes see the differences. Nice work!
