I found this to be a bit tricky especially from my house and trying not to use the same scene I've used in the past. Finally I just ended up driving around my town and when I saw something that looked good I took a picture! the top photo is from silver lake the second photo is from Old Orchard Beach Maine, and the third water photo is from Lake Dunmore. The other photos are just random shots but they caught my eye! where I live its mostly country scenes so that's what I worked with for the most part just in a different location.
My fave is the dock coming into the lake, is that the ME one? The dock adds a nice leading line to bring us into the photo and the reflection of clouds in water is lovely. One hint, careful with rule of thirds and horizons, in most of your shots I can see you were paying attention to that, but in this one the horizon is a little too close to center.

ReplyDeleteThe second photograph is my favorite. I really appreciate a photographer who does not include trees or mountains in their landscape photos. I also like the color and aesthetic to the photo as a whole.
