Cropping

6 comments:

  1. For some reason I was not able to type with my photos.

The first photo was cropped and used the marquee tool to add the purple background

The second photo I took 2 different photos and cropped them and marquee and lasso to get this image.

  2. Hi Stacey - I enjoyed viewing your pictures. The first picture captures my attention with the baby that takes up the entire frame because of the subtle backround the focus is entirely on the baby. The second picture is a great demonstration on how you can move people or places into pictures. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Nice work, Stacy, you did some sophisticated things with tools this week. Removing backgrounds is a great trick and combining two images, that took some time and you did a good job.

  4. Good job, I really like how in the first picture, you showed that you can change the background without moving the main picture, and in the second one you showed you can basically merge two pictures together. Nice work!

  5. I think the background you chose for the baby girl improved the shot a lot and I am impressed with the editing and manipulation you did with the football player into the beach scene. I had a hard time figuring out how to do this using GIMP. Did you use Photoshop?

  6. I actually tried to use gimp and didn't like it, I was able to download a free trial of photoshop and it worked much better.
